Designing an office within a historic building brings unique challenges, particularly when it comes to preserving the architectural integrity of the space. Maison Libre successfully addressed this by working with natural materials and a carefully selected colour palette that harmonises with the building’s original features.

The interior includes furniture and artworks that subtly reference the iconic style of Gerrit Rietveld, without compromising functionality or comfort.

Despite the historic setting, the office is fully equipped with modern facilities essential for a contemporary workplace. Intelligent spatial planning ensures efficient work areas, while carefully positioned lighting and ergonomic furniture contribute to a comfortable and productive environment.
